Throwback Thursday: Shape Up Snowman Accessories...
December 27, 2018
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! It's Thursday already, which is throwing me for a loop! But that means it's time for a Throwback Thursday over at Papertrey Ink, and I'm playing along this week. This week's featured set is the Shape Up Snowman Accessories stamp set, which is designed to coordinate with the Shape Up Snowman dies.
I used the Shape Up Snowman stamps and dies to create this snowman-shaped shaker card. I paired them with the shaker dies from the Fairy Tale Christmas kit, which fit nicely in the largest circle at the base of the snowman!
I used the Shape Up Snowman Accessories stamps to add the details like the buttons and the face.
Inside the shaker, I put the Santa's sleigh diecut, along with some artificial snow. I used one of the small bubbles from the kit (and also sold separately from the Papertrey Ink store) to enclose the shaker.
I finished him off by tying a strip of felt around his neck for a scarf, and stamping the "dreaming of a white Christmas" sentiment on the inside, which is also from the Fairy Tale Christmas kit. I was so busy getting this project ready a few days before Christmas, that it didn't even dawn on me that it wouldn't get posted until after Christmas! You could easily use this idea to create a wintery birthday card too, just by changing what's inside the shaker and using a different sentiment. ;-)
Thanks so much for stopping by for this Throwback Thursday! If you'd like to see more new projects using this set, you can visit Lizzie and Michelle. They're both playing along today, too!
