Throwback Thursday: Counting My Blessings...

It's time for a Throwback Thursday!  Today's featured Papertrey Ink set is Counting My Blessings.  This set has been around for a long time, but it's as great today as the day it was released!

I played around a little more with the same technique I used on yesterday's "spectacular" card -- layered sponging.  For the stencil masks, I used the Leaf Silhouettes dies.

I sponged the entire panel of linen cardstock with Harvest Gold ink to start off, then laid down some leaf masks and sponged with Summer Sunrise ink.  The third layer was sponged with Green Parakeet, and the final layer was done with Cocoa Bean ink.  After all of the layers were inked, I took off the masks, and spritzed with water to add a little texture.

I used the "blessed" die from the Counting My Blessings die set, and the "so very" from the matching stamp set.  I added some twine and small leaves, berries, and acorns from the Seasonal Borders: Autumn set to finish it off.

I'll have a short video posted to my Instagram account a little later today, showing this technique in action, so be on the lookout for that!  Have a great Thursday!  The weekend will be here before you know it.  ;-)
