Papertrey Ink November Countdown Day 5: Words to Live By, Corner Adorner, Expressions of Empathy...

It's time for the final day of the Papertrey Ink November countdown!  Today we have a couple of great sentiment sets to introduce to you, plus this month's Corner Adorner.

The sentiment sets being showcased today are this month's Words to Live By (this month's word is "caring"), and another set called Expressions of Empathy, which is perfect for those difficult-to-create for occasions.

Now for a few projects.  

I'll start out with a watercolor card I did that uses a sentiment from the Words to Live By: Caring set, combined with some elements from the new Fence Line: Winter set.

Trees are one of my favorite things to paint, so I started off with some shades of blue and created the background.  I then added the fence and cardinals from the Fence Line: Winter set.  I added some snowy glitter to the fence as well.

The sentiment along the bottom was done using the stamps and dies from the Words to Live By: Caring set.

Next is another card that uses the Words to Live By: Caring set, this time combined with this month's Bold Borders die, which has a cute polka dot border. 

I love this sentiment from the WTLB set!  I combined it with a heart diecut, which I embellished with some of the small flowers from the new Floral Fantasy Christmas set.

That fun polka dot border was cut from white cardstock, then sponged with Berry Sorbet and Pure Poppy inks for an ombre effect.

My last card again uses some small flowers from the Floral Fantasy Christmas set, this time combined with a sentiment from the Expressions of Empathy set.  There are so many great sentiments in this set, too!

I used this month's Corner Adorner set in a little bit of an unusual way.  I used the fun rays to give my floral bouquet a little pizzaz.  I stamped the small corner ray twice with Saffron Spice ink, then stamped some leaves among the rays and layered the flower diecuts over the top.

That awesome pierced border was done using the new Nesting Frames: Pierced Rectangles die set, which adds just the perfect finishing touch.  I used two of the rectangles from the set to create the border.
