Papertrey Ink November Countdown Day 3: Skinny Mini Banner dies, Fence Line: Winter, and Sentiment Staples: Warmest Wishes...
Happy Monday! (if there is such a thing ;-) ) I think there is when it involves more Papertrey Ink release projects and product reveals! It helps at least, right?
There are several things being introduced today including the fourth and final set in the Fence Line series (Winter this time!), some really awesome little banner dies (so perfect for little sentiment strips!), and another great little $5 Sentiment Staples set (Warmest Wishes!).
You can see all of today's product introductions in detail HERE, and they will all go up in the Papertrey Ink store at 10pm ET on November 15th.
Let's get to some projects.
First up I have a card using the Fence Line: Winter set combined with a sentiment from the Sentiment Staples: Warmest Wishes set. I love building scenes, and the Fence Line series is so perfect for that. The Winter set has a fence (of course), an evergreen tree, a garland for the fence, a couple of little cardinals, and a snowman, which I didn't use on this card.
I started by creating a pretty background for my scene by inking the largest stitched rectangle from the Noted: Simply Stitched die set with shades of blue ink. I also stamped a couple of the skinny trees from the Enchanted Forest set and heat embossed them with white. I also stamped a few in blue ink to create a "shadow" effect in the snow under the fence.
I decorated the fence with a couple of the garlands from the set and also the little cardinals. The sentiment is from the Sentiment Staples set, with the latter part of the sentiment stamped onto one of the Skinny Mini Banners dies, which are perfect to pair with any of the Sentiment Staples sets! I love that!

For my next project I had fun playing around with the new Skinny Mini Banners dies to create a fun backdrop for a few of the trees in the Enchanted Forest set.
I started by watercoloring a panel of watercolor paper using lots of fun colors...greens, teals, purples, and let them all blend. Then I took the Skinny Mini Banners dies and diecut several of them from the colorful watercolored paper. I wove them together to create a background, then layered several trees over the top, along with some snowflakes and sequins.
I used a couple of new die collections also being released this month to create a subtle frame -- Nesting Basics: Rectangles (the plain rectangle), and the Nesting Frames: Pierced Rectangles, which gives just the perfect subtle pierced border. These two die collections are designed to work together, allowing you to create a pierced edge around the outer or inner edges of the Nesting Basics: Rectangles. Such great basics! The sentiment I used here is again from the Sentiment Staples: Warmest Wishes set, combined with a Skinny Mini Banner die.

My last card for today uses the snowman from the Fence Line Winter set paired with some Enchanted Forest trees.
I started with a couple of stitched rectangles which were cut using the Noted: Simply Stitched die collection. From the smaller rectangle, I cut the evergreen tree from the Enchanted Forest set. I then layered this rectangle over a larger one, and stamped the tree image inside the cut-out. I layered a few more trees from the set and also the Fence Line: Winter snowman.
The sentiment is again from the Sentiment Staples set. I created a fun little finishing touch in the upper right corner using one of the Skinny Mini Banner dies and the small snowflake from Enchanted Forest. I layered another Skinny Mini Banner along the bottom with one of the skinny add-on sentiments from the Warmest Wishes set.
