Throwback Thursday: Splat...

Happy Thursday!  I love Thursdays, mostly because the next day is Friday.  :-) 

I'm playing along with Papertrey Ink's Throwback Thursday this week and this week's featured set is Splat. 

Splat is such a fun sentiment set that you can combine with so many other things in your collection.  I especially like it with some of the brushstroke flowers we've had released lately.  

So for this card, I started out by stamping the "hello" sentiment from the set onto a 1-3/4" Limitless Layers circle, heat embossed with gold.  Then I put this circle in the center of a Small Scallop Stackers diecut and traced around it with a pencil so I'd have a guideline for stamping a flower wreath.

I filled in all around this circle with different flowers from Brushed Blooms and Bitty Bouquets.  When I was finished stamping, I erased my pencil guidelines and attached my stamped circle over the top.  I finished it off into a card by attaching the panel to a Tropical Teal card base.
