Papertrey Ink May Countdown Day 1: Pitter Patterns and Baby Mine...
May 10, 2018
Good morning! The sun is shining and spring is here...it's May 10th and time to kick off the Papertrey Ink May release! I'd say that makes for an awesome day!
Today I get to help introduce a few new products coming your way for May...some sweet baby goodies and more. Anything I mention as "new" in today's post will be available for purchase beginning on May 15th at 10pm ET from the Papertrey Ink store.
Let me show you a couple of sweet baby projects using just a few of these fun new things!
These baby girl and boy cards use that adorable elephant from a new set by Heather called Baby Mind. He's so cute! I diecut two of them from watercolor paper, then stamped the image with Soft Stone ink and watercolored with soft gray and pink for the girl, and gray and aqua for the boy.
Behind each elephant is a cute patterned tag. These are new from Rebecca and part of the sweet Pitter Patterns collection. There are four tag dies, each cuts a different little pattern from the tags - I used the bows here for the girl card. I diecut the bottom edge of each tag with one of the dies from a new Noted die set being released this month to make the tag a little shorter so I could stamp a sentiment.
Behind each patterned tag is a solid tag, which was cut using the largest of the Paper & Package Essential Tag dies, which is the same size and shape as the Pitter Patterns tags. The sentiment stamped on each one is from the Pitter Patterns stamp set.
The cute layered tags are attached to card bases cut using the new Noted: Pinked A2 Vertical dies coming this month! I stamped patterns to match the tags using the Pitter Patterns stamp set.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from this month's Sentiment Staples set, which features the word "Welcome" along with several companion sentiments, like the "sweet baby" I used here.
And the boy version is stamped with shades of aqua on the inside.
These are such fun new baby (and beyond!) products! I hope you enjoyed today's projects. There's so much more to see with this month's release, I hope you'll stop back tomorrow!
