I created a card using this cute little set...

My girls and I have been playing around with some watercolors over Christmas break.  My daughter got a new set, and so did I...we were having fun "swatching" our new paints to test out all of the colors and that inspired today's card.  I started by stamping the large heart from the You Are Loved set in the center of a panel of watercolor paper, misting it with water after inking the stamp, to give a bit more of a watercolored effect.

Then I used my new watercolors and "swatched" several of the pinks around my heart by simply painting some squares.  Once they were dry, I stamped these squares with the smaller hearts and splatters from the You Are Loved set using shades of pink ink.  When it was all dry, I stamped that fun sentiment from the set and heat embossed it with gold powder.
