December Release Day 2...
December 11, 2017
Time for some more projects using the new December products from Papertrey Ink! It's Day 2 of the countdown and we have lots of new stuff to show you.
Everything I mention as "new" in today's post will be available for purchase beginning at 10pm ET on December 15th from Papertrey Ink.
My first project combines a couple new sets -- You Have My Heart and the Farmer's Market Florals that was showcased yesterday. You Have My Heart is a new set by Heather -- it's such a pretty, classic Valentine's set with some hearts, pretty sentiments, and more.
I started by diecutting the large stitched heart from the new You Have My Heart die set, then embossed it with the scalloped heart and a sentiment from the You Have My Heart stamp set. I diecut and stamped a bunch of flowers from the Farmer's Market Floral set and arranged them behind the heart.
Before adhering everything, I sponged some Amethyst Allure ink onto some watercolor paper and spritzed it with water. I also cut the bottom edge with the new Round Off Edgers dies. I attached everything to a Pale Peony card base.
Next is a fun Valentine project using a few more new things coming this month! The cute puzzle heart is a new set by Lizzie called Perfect Fit. I wrapped a Monkey around that cute heart, which is some new accessories we're releasing to match the Tag Sale: Huggable die. There have been requests for more animals, and I'm excited to say that I designed a few for you and they're coming your way this month!
I turned that cute puzzle heart into a shaker and filled just the area behind the puzzle piece cut-out (not the whole heart) with glitter and micro beads. I didn't use the whole Tag Sale: Huggable tag part - just the arms, and the head and details from the new Huggables: Monkey set. These little cuties are pretty fun...you can make them hug so many things!
I finished it off by stamping a sentiment from the new Perfect Fit set along the bottom, and adding a strip of Sweet Blue striped paper.
Lastly, today I have a simple one layer card using a few other new December things...the arrow border die from the new Mix & Mat: Hearts die set, the new Farmer's Market Florals stamp set, and the new Ways to Say: I Love You stamp set.
These Farmer's Market Florals are addicting! I stamped a cluster of the different flowers inside the arrow border. I used Copics to add details to the leaves and some other small details.
The "lots of love" sentiment was stamped using the new Ways to Say: I Love You set. Super quick and pretty card!
Thanks so much for stopping by today - I hope your day is off to a great start! To see more projects using these new goodies, be sure to stop by the NEW Papertrey Ink Blog!
