Papertrey Ink Feature: Snowfall Style...

Introducing Little Lift Me Ups, Background Basics: Birch, and Year of Psalms: November...

Good morning and welcome to Day 1 of the November Papertrey Ink countdown!  It just happens that all of my new products for the month are being introduced today, so there's a lot to see and I'll have more over the next four days.

Here's what's being shown today:

Little Lift Me Ups -- a $15 sentiment set, filled with inspirational verses and quotes.  I designed this set with my Sunday School kids and girls' club girls in mind.  Perfect for little notes of encouragement.

Background Basics: Birch -- this $15 background set turns the birch paper from my Wonderland kit into a stamp - yay!  Now I'll never run out...love that paper so much, so this is pretty exciting.  It takes just two quick impressions to fill an A2 card front.  The design matches side-to-side and can be stamped end to end as well if you wish to stamp something larger than 5-1/2".

Year of Psalms:  November -- the next in the $5 monthly series, this month's verse is from Psalm 105:4 and is perfect for sympathy and encouragement.

Mix & Mat: Plaid -- this might be my favorite Mix & Mat yet!  The interior panel cuts a plaid design, the outer border looks like branches, plus there's the zig-zag stitched border!

All of these new products will be available to purchase beginning at 10pm ET on November 15th from Papertrey Ink.

So let's move onto the projects using these new products!

My first project uses the BB: Birch set.  I stamped a panel of white cardstock with Soft Stone ink.  I diecut the deer from last month's Dash Away All from the stamped panel, then stamped all of the little florals from the Wonderland kit onto the cardstock panel underneath.

The cute little sentiment is from a pretty set you'll be seeing more of tomorrow.   I added a frame of soft stone cardstock, which is actually the negative of the Mix & Mat: Plaid die.

A bit of Hibiscus twine tied around the top finishes it off.  A pretty quick and easy card!

My next project uses the November: Year of Psalms set, the Mix & Mat: Plaid die, and the BB: Birch stamp.  The Mix & Mat: Plaid die can take on lots of different looks depending on how you use it...it can go rustic, or pretty like I did here.  I used the outer frame die and the stitched border, omitting the plaid insert so that I had a solid panel to stamp the verse onto.

Psalm-Petunia2

I stamped the petunias from the Humming Along set, using sticky notes to mask around the twig border using Pale Peony and Berry Sorbet inks.  The greens were done with Limeade Ice and Green Parakeet.  I added the small diecut flowers and leaves, which were cut using the little accessories dies included in the Cover Plate: Nesting die.

The card front behind the Mix & Mat frame was stamped with the BB: Birch stamp, stamped with Soft Stone ink.

My next card uses my new Little Lift Me Ups set.  I really wanted to do something fun with a lightbulb, but realized that we have no lightbulb products at Papertrey!  What's up with that?  So I had to get a little creative.  Can you guess what I used to make the lightbulbs here?  The hot air balloon dies from the Up, Up, and Away set.  :-)

I colored the tops with gray Copics and hung them using the Balloon Strings dies, cut from black cardstock.  I turned the largest bulb into a shaker element filled with glitter and a little heart.  The ray background was stenciled with a new stencil coming your way, that you'll see more of a bit later in the countdown.

The sentiment is from the new Little Lift Me Ups stamp set, stamped in black ink.
