Papertrey Ink October Release Day 5: Cloche Quarters Winter Fillers...

Good morning and happy weekend!  I hope you have some fun things planned for the weekend, including some crafting time!

We've come to the final day of the Papertrey Ink October countdown.  One of today's featured sets is the much-asked-for Cloche Quarters: Winter Fillers set.  This set is filled with fun things to put under the cloches from the original Cloche Quarters set.  There's a vintage station wagon, snowman, trees, ornament cluster, and a church.  I've been showing you projects using each slowly throughout the release week.  Today I have a couple more cards using this set.

The new Cloche Quarters: Winter Fillers stamp set and dies will be available for purchase beginning at 10pm ET on October 15th from the Papertrey Ink website.

My first card uses an image that I haven't shown you a sneak peek of yet - the cute little church.  I paired it with this month's Year of Psalms set.

Cloche-Psalm1

I started off by stamping both the sentiment and the Background Basics: Celestial sky using Versamark ink, then heat embossed everything with white powder.  The BB: Celestial sky is so perfect for creating a snowy background, too!

Cloche-Psalm2

I created a shaker element using the cloche dies and put the church inside, along with a couple of trees, also from the Cloche Quarters: Winter Fillers set.  I filled my shaker with some white glitter.  I used the basic round base from the original Cloche Quarters set, stamped in Smokey Shadow ink.  I also added a couple of greenery and berry clusters from the Wonderland kit - I just love those little bits and pieces and have been using them on almost everything!

My second card for today uses the fun ornament cluster once again.  I had someone ask if the ornaments would fit in other things, such as the bowls from Bowl of Sunshine.  I think it works great!  The whole cluster is a little too large for the bowl, but I trimmed off the bottom portion and just used part of the stack.

I paired the bowl with a cloche filled with the ornaments, and placed it on the pedestal from the original set.  I once again added some of the berry and greenery sprigs from the Wonderland kit.

The sentiment is from the previously released Cup of Cheer set.  Such a cute sentiment!  I topped off the card with a bit of Green Parakeet cardstock that was cut using the new Edgers to the Point II dies that are being released this month as well.  A fun and happy holiday card!
