Papertrey Ink October Release Day 2...
October 11, 2017
I'm just popping in with a few more October Papertrey Ink release projects today! None of my new products are being showcased today, but I thought I'd share some projects and sneak in some sneak peeks of things that you'll be seeing more of in the coming days...some that you didn't even get a peek at in the teaser video.
Anything I mention as "new" in today's post will be available to purchase beginning at 10pm ET on October 15th from the Papertrey Ink website.
First up is a card that uses a winter addition to my Cloche Quarters collection. Yes, you read that right...I know several of you have been asking about it! It's here! The Cloche Quarters: Winter set has some cute fillers that coordinate with the basic Cloche Quarters set. In this card I used the two trees, snowman, and twig/birds to make a shaker.
In the background is this month's new Mix & Mat: Snowflakes die.
The sentiment is from a new $5 mini set I have coming out called Cloche Quarters: Sentiments. I decided we needed a good collection of sentiments that fit on the banner from the Cloche Quarters basics set...more than I could fit on the seasonal sets, so I made a whole set filled with sentiments for all different seasons and occasions.
Next is a card using this month's Psalm...Year of Psalms: October, a verse from Psalm 96:11.
I combined the verse from the globe from the Paper Clippings: Joy to the World set from last year. I used the Basic Bookmark 2 die as a base, and cut the globe from it, embossed it with gold, and set it back inside the bookmark, which was embossed with the verse and sponged with Enchanted Evening and Royal Velvet inks.
In the background I embossed a sunburst from the Shine set in gold powder, and also added a branch from the Beautiful Berries: Winter set.
My last project for today uses the new Sing a Song of Christmas set that was showcased yesterday. This time I made a pretty background using the set, and diecut the Brushed Off: Rectangle from the center.
Inside the frame, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set, as well as added some snowflake and music note diecuts. I also added a few berry clusters from the Beautiful Berries: Winter set.
The outside of the frame was embellished with a treble clef diecut, as well as some more snowflake diecuts, all from the Sing a Song of Christmas set.
