Good morning! I hope you had a great weekend and had fun shopping all of the new October stamps and dies, which are now up in the Papertrey Ink store.
The team is sharing more projects over the next few days using the new goodies. Today's featured sets are Quoted: Little Bit More and the Traveler's Journal: December sets.
My first card uses the Quoted set. I started by heat embossing the sentiment with white powder, as well as the small snowflake from the set, then sponged ink over it with shades of blue.
I spritzed my background with water and also some gold shimmer spray. I diecut the hills from white cardstock using the In the Meadow dies. I nestled the church, trees, and car from the Cloche Quarters: Winter Fillers set into the hills.
Such a fun sentiment!
My second card uses the Traveler's Journal: December set. This set is great for journals, December daily albums, etc, but it's fun for cards too. Here I did some motif stamping using images from the set.
I started by drawing some pencil lines to mark the center of my card, then started with the snowflake in the center, and just continued to build outward from there.
Then I cut the bottom edge with the new To the Point Edgers II dies and layered the panel over a white card base and stamped a sentiment from the Traveler's Journal set along the bottom.
