More October Release: Dash Away All and Mix & Match: Snowflakes

Good morning!  Happy Wednesday!  The Papertrey Ink team is working our way through all of the products just added to the store for the October release.  Today's featured products are Dash Away All and the Mix & Mat: Snowflakes die.

My first card uses the Dash Away All set.  What a fun set this is...love the reindeer, the reindeer names, and that snowfall.  

I started with a panel of watercolor paper and did a wash using Enchanted Evening reinker.  Once it was dry, I took a fan brush and added the trees using Dark Indigo reinker.  After that was completely dry, I heat embossed the sentiment and the snowfall with white embossing powder.

I added the three reindeer across the top, stamped with Classic Kraft, and shaded with Cocoa Bean inks.

 

My next card is pretty simple and uses the Mix & Mat: Snowflakes die.  I diecut it from watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor pencils, then blended with water.

I attached it to a panel of Rustic White cardstock with foam tape for some dimension.

The banner is from the Tag Sale: Quilted die set, stamped with a sentiment from the Keep It Simple: Christmas set.
