Papertrey Ink June Countdown Day #4...
June 13, 2017
I have a few more projects today using some of my sets being released this month by Papertrey Ink -- Beautiful Berries: Summer, Humming Along, and the Herb Garden mini kit.
All of these new products will be available from Papertrey Ink beginning at 10pm ET on June 15th.
My first project uses the Humming Along set along with one of the stencils from the Herb Garden kit.
I started off by inking the stencil from the herb kit using Green Parakeet and a bit of Aqua Mist ink and a brayer. After inking, I misted the stencil with water and ran it through my Big Shot using the embossing mats and appropriate embossing sandwich. I diecut this panel using the Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical die.
I added a couple of the fuchsia clusters from the Humming Along set, along with the small bird from the set. The sentiment is also from Humming Along, stamped in black ink. I adhered my finished panel to a Sweet Blush card base.
My next card uses the Beautiful Berries: Summer set along with the new Mix & Mat: Pretty Brackets dies. I started with a Lilac Grace card base and layered a Mix & Mat diecut over the top. I stamped the sentiment onto a stitched rectangle diecut from the Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical die set, cut from Smokey Shadow cardstock, with the sentiment heat embossed with white powder.
Over that I layered a few of the different berry clusters, stamped with Amethyst Allure + Royal Velvet, Raspberry Fizz + Scarlet Jewel, and Green Parakeet + New Leaf for the leaves.
My last card uses the new Herb Garden mini kit. I diecut and stamped a couple of the thyme stems and clustered them together, wrapping a bit of twine around the stems.
As a background I combined the lattice-like cut-out from this month's Mix & Mat die set with the previously released Mix & Mat: Scallops die set. I hung the thyme upside down on the lattice and backed it with one of the patterned papers from the kit.
The sentiment was stamped onto a diecut over (from the Noted: Scalloped A2 set) and heat embossed with white powder.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll have more new projects tomorrow showcasing a super cute new set by Lizzie!
