Celebrating the Past, Present and Future: 2014

2014

Hello again!  I'm excited to be back again today with another Past, Present & Future post as we work through Papertrey Ink's fabulous 10 year history in the stamping world!  Today we are pulling out our favorites from all of the great stuff released in 2014.  When looking through this year's releases, I decided it was one of the best - it was very hard to choose a favorite!  But I settled on Life is Beautiful...I can't resist those butterflies and have used them over and over!

Life is beautiful set

I created a brand new card with this set.  I started off by stamping all of those different "beautiful" words clustered off to the right side on a white cardstock base.  Then I stamped a couple of the medium butterflies from the set.

I love the butterfly dies with this set and wanted to use them too, but didn't want them to overpower the stamping, so I diecut a few from vellum and layered them around the stamping for a soft look.  I finished it off by tying a bit of rustic cream twine around the panel.  I also added a few clear sequins for just a touch of sparkle!

I know I'm not the only one that regards this gorgeous Life is Beautiful set as an all-time Papertrey favorite!
