More Dress Up Dolls: Birthday and What the Doodle: Paisley...
January 12, 2017
Good morning! It's day #3 of the Papertrey Ink countdown. Normally we have a group post on the third day, but my product for the post didn't arrive in time, so I'll be sharing projects using this day's featured products a bit later this month. So for today, I just have a couple more cards using the Dress Up Dolls: Birthday and What the Doodle: Paisley sets.
Both of these new sets, along with anything else mentioned as "new" in today's post, will be available for purchase beginning at 10pm Eastern time on January 15th from Papertrey Ink.
My first card uses WTD: Paisley paired with a pretty sentiment from a new set coming this month also, called Banner Style. There is a cute banner die to coordinate with the sentiments in the set, but I just used it on its own here. For the paisleys, I stamped and heat embossed them, then sponged them with pink and purple inks. I layered them over some diecut hearts.
I filled in around the hearts with some small leaves and flowers, which were diecut from the patterned papers in the Color Pop: Florals kit. Everything was adhered to a Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical cardstock panel, layered over a Lilac Grace card base.
Supplies not linked, but available on January 15th from Papertrey Ink: Banner Style stamp set, What the Doodle: Paisley stamp set and coordinating dies
My next card uses the Dress Up Dolls: Birthday set to create a fun birthday card, perfect for a little guy on your list. I colored everything in shades of blues and greens, using my Copic markers.
I layered him over a Cover Plate: Balloon Bash panel, cut from kraft cardstock, then layered over a Hawaiian Shores card base. The sentiment is also from the Dress Up Dolls: Birthday set.

That's all for today - we'll see you back here tomorrow! More good stuff on the way!
