Celebrating Love: Now and Then...
Valentine Inspiration...

Feel Better Inspiration...

Good morning and welcome to the second group post of the December Papertrey Ink countdown!  Today the team is featuring a really great collection of new products designed by Erin Lincoln that will make it easy to put together get well cards and gifts for loved ones feeling a little under the weather.

Here's a list of the new products featured in my projects today (all of which will be available for purchase beginning at 10pm ET on December 15th from Papertrey Ink):

  • Take It Easy stamp set and dies
  • Cozy Bed dies
  • Tissue Box Cover die

I put together a small gift ensemble that would be perfect to cheer up a young girl that's home with the sniffles.  Everything is done up in a cheery strawberry theme...

The card uses the Cozy Bed dies with the Dress Up Dolls girl tucked under the covers.  The puppy is from the new Dress Up Dolls: Puppy Love set you'll be seeing more of tomorrow.  Several of the accessories in the Take It Easy set are the perfect size the use with the Dress Up Dolls.  I put the small tissue box in her hand and the hot water bottle on her head.

I pulled out the previously released Strawberry Patch and Strawberry Patch Additions sets to use along with today's new products.  I stamped some small strawberries from the Additions set onto the Cozy Bed blanket, and used a sentiment along the top of the card, also from the Additions set.

The basket is filled with some simple comfort items - strawberry flavored cough drops, lip balm, and a small pack of tissues dressed up with the new Tissue Box Cover dies.  I put everything in a small berry basket.

The tag was cut using the Folded Tag die and stamped with some strawberries as well as a sentiment from the new Take It Easy set -- I thought this "gather" sentiment worked perfect with the strawberry theme!

To dress up the small pack of tissues, I diecut the Tissue Box Dies from white cardstock and stamped the whole thing with strawberries from the Strawberry Patch set.  After assembling the box, I diecut the Berry Box II die from Mint Julep cardstock and trimmed it down to fit the sides of the tissue box, almost making it resemble a small box filled with berries.  For the lip balm, I used a berry-flavored EOS balm and topped it with some small flowers cut from Vintage Jadeite cardstock to turn it into a strawberry.  It's probably more egg-shaped than strawberry-shaped, but I think it still works and looks so cute tucked in the basket!
