November Release Wrap Up...

Hello and welcome to the final day of the countdown!  Tonight is the night that all of the new November products go up in the Papertrey Ink store.

I have a few last projects to share with you today!

First up is a card using the new Splits: Birthday set.  This one is a fun one!  I stamped it with black ink and then colored it with Copics.  I think this one is a great one for guy cards.

I layered it over the frame from the Fill in the Blank dies.  The frame was cut from Smokey Shadow cardstock, the inside was cut from Prairie Grass cardstock.  The card base is cut from Aqua Mist cardstock and sponged with Tropical Teal ink.

Next I have a card that uses the new What the Doodle: Piece of Cake with the previously released What the Doodle: Tea Time.  The teacup from the set works great with the plate from the Piece of Cake set.  I colored them with Copic markers.

Thanks-cake

The background was done with the dies from the new Noted: Scalloped A2 Vertical die set.  I stamped the steam from the Tea Time set onto Smokey Shadow cardstock and heat embossed it with white powder.  The "thanks" was cut using the Big Basics: Thanks die, sponged with some Pure Poppy ink.

My last card uses a few new sets - Fill in the Blank, Better Together, and Keep It Simple: Birthday III.  I stamped the "happy birthday" block of text three times, angling it across the card front.  I filled in the blanks with the coordinating words, heat embossed with white powder.

The flowers are from the Better Together set, stamped and heat embossed on watercolor paper, then watercolored with reinkers.  The "happy birthday" sentiment was stamped onto the banner from the Tag Sale: Quilted die set, stamped in Pure Poppy ink.
