Introducing Dress Up Dolls: Winter Fun...

Good morning and welcome to the first day of the November Papertrey Ink Countdown!

Today I get to showcase this month's addition to the Dress Up Dolls collection - Winter Fun!  The set has all of the winter gear your dress up dolls need to get ready for some wintery fun.

The new Dress Up Dolls: Winter Fun set and coordinating dies, along with anything else mentioned as "new", will be available for purchase beginning at 10pm ET on November 15th from Papertrey Ink.

My first card uses the Dress Up Doll: Basics girl, all decked out in her winter gear, shoveling a pile of snowflakes.  The snowflakes were cut using the Shaker Shapes: Snow Globe die set.  The sentiment I used here is from the Two Feet Deep stamp set, stamped onto the stitched banner from the Tag Sale: Quilted die set.

Brrr-thday

All of the coloring was done with Copics.  The background was sponged with Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz, and Bright Buttercup inks and spritzed with a bit of water.

My next card uses the Dress Up Dolls: Winter fun set again to make this little skier girl.  There's a ton of stuff packed into this little $5 set...the snowman is also from this set.  The skis have just a die, along with a small stamp for the detail portion of the ski.  Oh, and did you happen to notice the card base? ;-) That's a new Noted die set coming your way - an A2 vertical version!  yay!

Winter-Delight

The card base was sponged with a bit of Aqua Mist ink and stamped with the small snowflake from the Dress Up Dolls set.  The sentiment is from this set as well.

My last card for today uses both the boy and girl Dress Up Dolls for a cute couple.  I positioned them inside a frame which was cut using the new Noted: A2 Vertical Scalloped die collection.  There are some fun things nested inside the main die - here I used a combination of the largest stitched rectangle with the stitched scalloped rectangle from the set. After cutting I also ran them through with an embossing mat to get that pretty embossed detail.

Warms-my-Heart

I placed a snowball from the set in the girl's hand.  The sentiment I used here is from the Cozy Christmas set released last month.
