Introducing NEW! Mini Kit: Holiday Hugs...
Table Service revisited and more October release inspiration...

October Release Wrap Up...

We've come to the end of the Papertrey Ink October countdown!  Lots of fun stuff again this month, don't you think?  I have a few more projects for you today.

All of the new October products will go up in the store tonight, October 15th at 10pm ET.

My first project uses the new Inspired: Hope along with a few elements from the new Paper Clippings: Joy to the World.  I stamped the globe from the Joy to the World set onto the coordinating die, and backed it with the solid die, also from that set. I also layered the stitched circle from the Holiday Hugs kit under that.

The sentiment is from the new Inspired: Hope set.  I stamped part of it onto a couple of the stitched banners from the Tag Sale: Quilted die.  I sponged some ink onto a panel of linen cardstock before adhering everything.  The large star is also from the Paper Clippings Joy to the World set.

Next I made a card using the new Holiday Hugs Mini Kit and Tag Sale: Huggable die. Super quick and easy to put together!

I added some stenciling to the blue hat using the stencil from the kit and some texture paste.  I added one of the printed sentiment labels, cut with the scalloped circle die from the kit.  I snowy background was made using one of the stencils from the Post & Parcel kit.

Here's one using the new What the Doodle: Snowflakes set.  I heat embossed the snowflakes onto the coordinating diecuts using white embossing powder, then watercolored over them using some re-inkers.

The "joy to the world" sentiments is from the Jingle All the Way set.

One last card...this one was pretty quick and easy to put together, but packs a punch.  I cut the Paper Clippings: Joy to the World main die from watercolor paper.  I layered it over another panel of watercolor paper that was colored with some re-inkers, behind the globe portion of the diecut.

Then I layered some of the Detail dies over the top, stamped with the images from the stamp set.  I also diecut the "to the" on the banner portion from Aqua Mist cardstock and adhered those to the banner.  I covered the backside of my cardstock with scor-tape before diecutting so that I could just pull the letters away from the backing and they already had adhesive on them.

You may or may not have noticed that I didn't use all of the products being released this month -- we are doing things a little bit differently this release in that the team will be sharing more projects on the 1st of November!  Any products that I did not use throughout the countdown will be used in projects on my blog on the 1st. Something to look forward to mid-release!  We'll see you back here then, if not before.  Want to see what projects the other ladies have for you today?  Hop around to their blogs...
