Papertrey Ink Countdown Day #2...

Good morning!  Are you ready for more great Papertrey Ink holiday product reveals and projects?!

All of the items I mention as "new" in today's post will be available for purchase on release day - September 15th, from Papertrey Ink, beginning at 10pm Eastern.

None of my new sets are being introduced today, but I thought I'd pop in with some projects anyway, and give you some sneak peeks of things you're going to be seeing more of as we go through the countdown. ;-)  Dawn has some gorgeous sets coming your way that are being showcased today -- Holiday Greens and Holiday Greens Borders.  I used both of those sets here, along with this month's new Inspired: Jesus set, which you'll be hearing more about in the coming days.

How about those Holiday Greens borders?  Wow, so pretty and so quick and easy.  A whole border with one impression.  And the matching dies just make it so easy to layer and really make a statement with little effort.  I used the pine branches here, but there are two others in the set.  I stamped the large script "Jesus" using Saffron Spice ink, then moved it just slightly and stamped it again to get just a bit of shadow and depth.  The rest of the sentiment was stamped in Pure Poppy. I used the Holiday Greens flowers, holly leaves, and berries to create some clustered accents.  The whole works was added to the front of an Olive Twist card base.

I have another project using those pretty new Holiday Greens borders by Dawn, combined with my new Winter Village set.  I am SO excited about the Winter Village set and have been having so much fun creating with it.  Here I diecut three of the larger houses in the set and stamped them with different inks.  The one one the back was done with Aqua Mist ink (I got two different shades from just one ink by using my MISTI and stamping more times with the image I wanted to be darker), and Soft Stone rolled with some Smokey Shadow for the roof.  The middle house was done with Ocean Tides and Pinefeather inks for the house and Classic Kraft sponged with a bit of Cocoa Bean for the roof.  The last one was done with Berry Sorbet and Pure Poppy, with the same roof colors are the first.

I lined the three houses up and tucked them behind an In the Meadow hill diecut, which was stamped with the snowdrift images from the Winter Village set.  I sponged a bit of Spring Rain ink to the sky.  I topped it off with one of the Holiday Greens borders, which was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white powder, then sponged with  just a bit of Spring Rain ink.  I added a few trees, fences, and mailboxes to the scene, all from the Winter Village set.  The sentiments are also from Winter Village.

I also have a little more elf fun for you today.  I created some cute little notecards using the Dress Up Dolls: Elves and Elf Sentiments paired with the Noted: A1 dies.  The striped frame is found in the Elf Sentiments set.  It works nicely with the Monthly Moments Journaling cards.  Here I used the Stitching Journaling card and stamped the striped frame with Pure Poppy ink.  I sponged a bit of Aqua Mist ink in the upper left corner of each and stamped the "You are on the nice list" from the Elf Sentiments set in black ink.

I diecut and stamped the Dress Up Dolls and their cute elf outfits, then colored them with Copics.  I gave them each a couple of gift stacks, also from the Dress Up Dolls: Elves set.

Cute for boy or girl, these little notecards would also look great as treat bag toppers!

And what's our cheeky little elf been up to?  Well, he's really wondering what YOU'VE been up to.

He says he's got his eye on you.  He wants to make sure you stuff your stockings with lots of Papertrey goodies.  ;-)
