Meadow Greens Revisited...

Summer is flying by!  It's the first of August already!  But of course, the first of the month means it's time for a Papertrey Ink Sr Team revisit.  Each month we pull out an older set and bring you some fresh inspiration.

This month we're pulling out the gorgeous Meadow Greens set.  It's always been one of my favorites - so pretty!

Meadowgreens

I created two new cards using the Meadow Greens set.  This first one is a soft, soothing card that would be perfect for a sympathy card.  I used a bit of an unusual color combo -- Berry Sorbet, Americana, Aqua Mist, and Soft Stone to stamp the various leaves and flowers in the background.

The window was cut using the Noted: Scalloped A1 die set.  The oval insert was cut from linen cardstock and sponged with some Berry Sorbet ink, then stamped with this pretty sentiment from the Meadow Greens set with Stormy Sea ink.  I added a diecut leaf stamped in Soft Stone, tied with a bit of twine and adhered with some foam.

Up next is a lighter, brighter take on the Meadow Greens set.  I pulled out my Friendship Jar and Friendship Jar Shaker dies and filled them with the Queen Anne's Lace images from the Meadow Greens set.  I watercolored some watercolor paper with Bright Buttercup ink and then diecut and stamped the queen anne's images with Bright Buttercup and Green Parakeet inks.

I filled in with some leaves from the set.  The jar was sponged with some Aqua Mist ink. I also did a bit of watercoloring on the background panel using Aqua Mist and Green Parakeet inks.  The sentiment was diecut using the Big Basics: Birthday die and sponged with Aqua Mist and Green Parakeet inks.
