Are you ready for SAF 2016?

It's time to kick off the SAF festivities!  All of the Stamp-A-Faire challenges start tomorrow morning, but right now we have a little intro treat for you.  :-)  Join the team on Nichole's blog for a "meet & greet" as well as a chance to enter your favorite project into an InLinkz list for a chance to win a prize!

For the team intro video, we each had to get creative and create a large version of one of the letters to spell out "The Masters 2016".  I was assigned the letter "E" and did some jumbo paper quilling on a 12x12 canvas.  It was such a fun project to put together that I thought I'd share it here too.

I started by printing a large "E" onto cardstock to use as a mask for painting the canvas.  The I used this masked "E" as a guide to outline it with 3/4" strips of cardstock.  Then I used a whole bunch more 3/4" strips for all of the quilling.  Not sure what I'm going to do with it, since no one in my family starts with an "E", but it was fun!  :-)
