Tree Trimming Trio...say that three times fast. :-) It's the first of November and that means the Papertrey Ink Sr Team girls are here to bring you some fresh inspiration using an older set. Up this month is Tree Trimming Trio...
I have a couple of new project using this great set. I created a card and a treat box using the Christmas Tree Change Up Box.
For the card, I started off with a panel of linen cardstock and sponged some Aqua Mist ink. I layered a Cover Plate: Night Sky diecut over the top, cut from linen cardstock as well. I diecut and stamped that pretty flourished tree from the Tree Trimming Trio set using Vintage Jadeite ink, then filled in the circular opening with the coordinating stamps, punched with a 1/2" circle punch and popped up with some foam. A sentiment from the Tree Trimming Trio set is stamped along the bottom. I also added a few of the star cut-outs from the Cover Plate - cut from Luxe Gold and linen cardstock.
The coordinating treat box was super quick and easy to put together using the Christmas Tree Change Up box die. The polka dot tree from the Tree Trimming Trio set fits pretty nicely on the box. I few punched circles stamped in fun colors and popped up fill in the open spaces in the polka dot tree. The star on top was cut from Luxe Gold cardstock.
