Petite Places Through the Seasons...
November Release Wrap Up...

Celebration Inspiration...

Welcome to the last big day of reveal for the November Papertrey Ink countdown!  The team is all here today, featuring a whole line up of fun birthday and celebration stamps, dies, and papers.

Here's what we're showcasing today...

A new set of Scene It dies called Scene It: Celebration.  This new Scene It set also has a coordinating stamp set, so it's super fun for adding lots of color.  As with all of the dies in the Scene It collection they can be mixed and matched with any of the other Scene It dies, so the three dies in this set will open up even more possibilities with the previously released dies you might already have in your collection.

We're also showcasing the Confetti Toss stamps and papers. This set is perfect for creating those trendy scattered dots, and the patterned papers are super fun.

And last, but not least is a sequel to the Christmas Cheer set, this time a set of birthday sentiments done in that same pretty font.

All of these new products will be available for purchase from the Papertrey Ink website beginning at 10pm EST on November 15th.

Let's get on to the projects...I have so much to show you!

First up is a whole ensemble of birthday goodies...card, tags, and gift bag using all of the products I mentioned above.

Birthday-ensemble

First up is the card.  I used all three layers of the Scene It: Celebration dies.  I sponged some Aqua Mist and Tropical Teal inks onto the negative of the bottom (star) layer and nested the star diecut back inside.  The balloons and banner were stamped with the coordinating Scene It: Celebration stamp set.

I adhered all three dies with a bit of foam and also added the Scene It: Basic Backer to get that cute scalloped edge.  I attached the whole works to a panel of that cute Confetti Toss patterned paper.  All in all, a pretty simple card to put together that looks like a whole lot more work.  I love how these dies look all stacked up!

And of course, like all of the other Scene It dies, you can use each layer individually as well.  I did that here to make a set of birthday tags.  This first one uses the star layer, stamped with the coordinating star stamps from the set, layered over a Tag Sale #4 diecut. That awesome Make a Wish sentiment is from the new Birthday Cheer stamp set.  I sponged a bit of Aqua Mist ink onto the tag and stamped a little confetti using one of the stamps in the Confetti Toss set before adhering the star diecut.

Here are two more tags, made with the other die layers from the Scene It: Celebration set.  The star clusters stamped behind the balloons are from the Birthday Cheer set, the "enjoy" sentiment is from the Scene It: Celebration set.  The "it's your birthday" sentiment on the banner tag is from the Birthday Cheer set.  I just curved the sentiment on my block so that it would fit nicely on the banner.  I also turned the banner layer so that the banner was at the top of the tag instead of at the bottom.  Lots of fun options with this die set!

The next item in the birthday ensemble is a gift bag that I made using one of the Front & Center dies.  I used Ashley's method of turning a diecut onto a gift box that she did in a Make It Monday video a while back.  I added one of the clear domes to the front, filled with the Scene It: Celebration diecuts, some star confetti, and sequins.

I sponged some ink onto the bottom of the Front & Center panel and stamped a whole bunch of confetti from the Confetti Toss set along the top.

Next I have another card that uses the Scene It: Celebration dies and stamps, along with another piece of the Confetti Toss patterned paper, this time to create a New Year's card.  This time I played around with diecutting the layers from some different materials.  The star layer was cut from a Luxe Silver Adhesive sheet (not really because I needed it to be adhesive, I just wanted the shinier finish that the adhesive paper has over the Luxe Silver cardstock).  I diecut the balloon layer from vellum and inked it with my ink blending tool.

The banner and sentiment are from the Scene It: Celebration set.  I diecut some confetti stars using the Shaker Shapes: Circle die and attached them with some coordinating brads.

Like I mentioned at the beginning of this post, the Scene It: Celebration dies can be mixes and matched with any of the other Scene It: Dies.  Next I have a holiday card that uses the banner layer from Scene It: Celebration with the building and star background from Scene It: Bethlehem.

Scene-it-peace

I diecut the star layer from the Scene It: Bethlehem set from Spring Rain cardstock, then sponged some Blueberry Sky and Enchanted Evening inks.  The sentiment on the banner is from the Snow Globe Sentiments set - all of the sentiments in that set fit nicely on the banner by just curving them a bit on your block.

This next card uses the Scene It: Celebration star layer paired with a panel of patterned paper from the Confetti Toss paper pad to create a sweet baby card.  The "baby" diecut is from Wonderful Words: Baby.

Sweet-baby

I simply diecut the star layer from Sweet Blush carsdtock and layered it over that pre-printed confetti circle on the paper.  I addd some stamped confetti leading up to the corner, and added the sentiment.  Super quick and easy!

My last card for today might just be my favorite!  I used the banner layer, along with the coordinating banner stamp from the Scene It: Celebration set to create a pretty thank you card.  The "thanks" was done with the new Type Strips III stamps coming your way this month.

Thanks-tulips

The tulip bouquet in the background is from Bitty Bouquets.  I sponged some Hibiscus Burst ink on the negative portion below the banner, then nested it back inside.  The whole thing is layered over a Scene It: Doily Tag base.  The pretty striped paper through the tag slits is from the new Ombre Stripes paper pad, and the polka dot background is from the Vintage Jadeite + White Basics paper collection.
