Well, today's the big day! All of the new October products go up in the store tonight at 10pm ET. Happy shopping...so many hard choices, don't you love it and hate it all at the same time? :-)
I have a few projects left to share with you today using these new October goodies. First is a card using Joyful Christmas along with just the house front from Petite Places: Holiday Lane and some of the new Star Scribbles foil paper.
I sponged some Sweet Blush ink at the top of the foil printed panel and stamped the sentiment in the open rectangle. I also stamped some snowflakes from Snowflake Sparkle using Sweet Blush ink. I diecut a hill using the In the Meadow die and added several of the bottle brush trees from Joyful Christmas, topped with stars diecut from Luxe Gold cardstock.
Supplies not linked, but available beginning at 10pm ET on October 15th from Papertrey Ink: Joyful Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies, Snowflake Sparkle stamp set, Petite Places: Holiday Lane dies, Star Scribbles Foil paper
Up next is another card using that same Star Scribbles paper, but this time in silver and paired with the new Warmest Wishes stamps set and dies. This polar bear reminds me of a book that my youngest always requested at bedtime when she was younger...it was about a momma and baby polar bear and how they saw the northern lights. I was going for a kind of northern lights look with my ink blending along the top. Having grown up in North Dakota, I am fortunate to have seen some pretty spectacular northern light displays, and let me tell you, it's one of the most incredible sights! :-)
After sponging my inks, I splattered a bit of water to add some texture. The polar bear and mountain tops were brushed with Aleene's Glitter Snow Paint for a little texture and glitz. The bear's sweater was cut from Luxe Silver cardstock, stamped with Versamark, and bits of color were added with my Copics.

And next is a card using Dawn's new Enclosed: Wreath set. I stamped it in Vintage Jadeite ink and layered it over a Tag Sale: Quilted diecut.
Nested inside is a Petite Places: Holiday Lane house along with one of the layers from the Scene It: Mountain View dies. I trimmed the "peace" diecut away from the res of the wreath and placed it at the top of my wreath. Everything's layered over Vintage Jadeite dotted paper and a bit of plaid from the new Holiday Plaid patterned paper collection.

My last product for the release uses the new Cover Plate: Winter Floral along with the Keep It Simple: Gift Thanks stamp set and Wet Paint Upper and Lower Alpha dies.
I used a sheet of the Star Scribbles Foil paper and stamped just the first part of the "thanks for the gift" sentiment, masking off the "gift" portion and adding that word with the alpha dies instead. I diecut the Winter Floral cover plate from Pure Poppy cardstock as well as Aqua Mist and white. I snipped out bits from the Aqua Mist and white dieucts and layered them over the Pure Poppy one. I added some Tropical Teal ink sponged onto the Aqua Mist pieces.
