SAF Exclusive Set...

Stamp-A-Faire day is almost here! Are you ready to create? All of the festivities kick off tonight and the challenges kick off tomorrow morning!
Today's post is all about this year's exclusive SAF set, which you can get free with any qualifying Papertrey Ink order placed on SAF day (orders of $100 or more placed between 7am EST and 11:30pm EST on August 29th).
This year's SAF exclusive set is called Fashion Sense and it's super fun. I made a couple of cards using it, let me show you...
For the first one I did a little watercoloring. To kind of concentrate the watercoloring within the dress area this is what I did: I put the dress outline image on one side of my clear block to use as a guide and then I inked up the other side of my block with a rainbow of Papertrey ink pads. I took a paper towel and wiped the ink off of the block from the areas outside the dress image. Then I spritzed the inked up block with a bit of water and pressed it onto my watercolor paper in the approximate area that I wanted the dress to be stamped. I think there might have been a little luck involved in it turning out as good as it did. lol.
Once the watercoloring was dry I stamped the dress image in black ink over top of the watercoloring. I stamped that image several more times with gray ink. I added some rainstones to the colored dress and stamped the "...be different" sentiment from the Fashion Sense set. I added a bit of watercoloring to the upper right corner too.

My next card is pretty simple and straight forward. I stamped some strokes from the Brushed Off set very lightly in the background and then stamped the lady image over the top.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the set and added a few flower clusters, also from the Fashion Sense set. I trimmed down my stamped panel and set it at an angle on an Aqua Mist card base.
