SAF 2015: Bridal Challenge...
August 29, 2015
Good morning! Are you ready to kick off SAF 2015!?! This year's SAF theme is inspired by one of my favorite tv shows...Project Runway! All of the challenges will have some sort of reference to the show. You can visit Nichole's blog where she'll be posting all of the details for the hourly challenges. I'll have several posts today as we work our way through the challenges!
The first challenge is the Bridal Challenge. Nichole challenged us to create an all white wedding card...the only exception is that you can use a neutral ink color for stamping the sentiment. I pulled out my Garden Gild cover plate and stamps because I thought that would fit the bill perfectly!
I started off by creating a card base that had a vellum front. To do this I used pretty much the same process I show HERE, but instead of attaching the cover plate, I attached a panel of vellum. Then I diecut the Garden Gild cover plate twice and adhered one to the front of the vellum. I trimmed away just the large floral corner on the second one and adhered it on the backside of the vellum panel, behind the smaller floral corner.
I stamped the sentiment with some metallic silver ink.
I can't wait to see what you all do with this challenge!
