Calling All Bibliophiles....
July 13, 2015
It's time for another Papertrey Ink group post! Today we are featuring a new line-up of book themed products! I think Erin and Nichole really outdid themselves with these new stamps and dies!
I also have a few more Morning by Morning projects at the bottom of this post!
All of the products mentioned as "new" in today's post will be available for purchase beginning at 10pm EDT from the Papertrey Ink website.
Let me start off today with a card using some new dies designed by Nichole, called Book Cover Card...which pretty much sums it up...dies to create a card that looks like a book. So neat! I combined these new dies with images from the previously released Wee Folk kit and the new Graceful Greetings dies to create a whimsical baby themed card which was inspired by this gorgeous book cover...
I diecut the base of the card from Harvest Gold cardstock, then added the deer and laurels from the Wee Follk kit and lots of Graceful Greetings flowers. The "once" word was cut with the new Book Cover dies. I stamped the "upon a time" sentiment using a new mini stamp set being released to coordinate with the Book Cover dies, called Book Cover Details.
Along the spine of the book I stamped the "welcome little one" sentiment from the Wee Folk kit, along with a pretty ornament from the Book Cover Details set.

My next card uses Erin's new Bibliophile set to create a stack of pretty books. This card would be perfect for a wedding, engagement, or anniversary. I topped the stack of books with a few Gracious Greetings blooms.
The "congrats" sentiment stamped on the vertical spine is from Dawn's new Perfect Pairing set.

Next up are a few more Morning by Morning projects. This first one combines the morning glories with the previously released Lovely Laurels mini kit. I thought the blooms would be perfect for tucking in the pop-up laurel diecut.
I inked the laurel wreath with Aqua Mist and Tropical Teal ink and stamped the morning glories in Berry Sorbet, Autumn Rose, and Scarlet Jewel inks onto a panel of Vintage Cream cardstock. I trimmed the panel and adhered it at an angle on an Aqua Mist card base. A sentiment from the Morning by Morning set just fits inside the laurel wreath.

Up next, the morning glories take on a brighter look, stamped in Orange Zest, Pure Poppy, and Harvest Gold inks. The leaves were stamped with Aqua Mist. I love the fresh, summery feel of this. I stamped the morning glory vine twice along the right edge of a panel of Fresh Snow Linen cardstock.
Under the stamped panel I put a strip which was stamped with a coordinating plaid pattern using the Plaid Builder set. A sentiment from the Morning by Morning set was stamped with Tropical Teal ink.

Well, that wraps up another day of projects for me! Be sure to stop by the other gals to see what they created using all of the new book-themed products!
