June Release Wrap Up...
June 15, 2015
Well, we've come to the end of another exciting Papertrey Ink release! I had so much fun creating with this month's goodies...I still have ideas swirling around in my head that I didn't have time to complete! Oh, well...there's always next week.
All of the new stamps, dies, and papers will go up in the store tonight, June 15, at 10pm EDT.
I have just a couple more projects to share with you. First, a card using Dawn's new Bloomers set. Ack! I'm in love! Cards done with these flowers just make themselves...this card took me like 10 minutes and I just love how it turned out. I stamped the flowers with Melon Berry/Berry Sorbet, Harvest Gold/Summer Sunrise, and Sweet Blush/Hibiscus Burst. I pulled out the leaf stamps from my Beautiful Brushstrokes kit and filled in with those, stamped in Limeade Ice ink.
I used the new Scripted dies (LOVE these too!) and diecut the "just because" sentiment from Luxe Gold Adhesive paper, then added the rest of the sentiment stamped in Raspberry Fizz underneath it. Super quick and easy!

My last card for the June release is another using my Shaker Shapes: Balloon dies along with Heather's new Good Times set. I love that confetti border! I inked it up with Limeade Ice and Tropical Teal inks and stamped it at the top of my card.
I layered two Shaker Shapes Balloons over the top. I didn't turn them into shakers, but just diecut the solid layer from vellum and added it as a backer to the frame portion. That way I could just layer them for a kind of cool look. It would be fun to try to add color to the vellum too and then layer them and let the colors overlap...need to try that! I sponged a little Aqua Mist ink along the bottom and stamped as sentiment and some stars from the Good Times set.
