Bitty Baby Blessings Revisited...

Happy May Day!  The weather is gorgeous here and spring has definitely arrived.  I hope it has where you are too.  Today's the first of the month and that means it's time for the Papertrey Ink Sr Team to pull out an older stamp set and bring you some fresh inspiration.

This month we're featuring the Bitty Baby Blessings stamp set and dies...

Bitty Baby blessings

One of my favorite things about these revisit posts is that I get a chance to play around with combining some of the newer products with these older sets.  My first project today combines the cute sailboat image from Bitty Baby Blessings with the newer Cover Plate: Blue Skies die.

The Cover Plate: Blue Skies die is the perfect backdrop for a couple of those little sailboats.  I added some waves along the bottom using the Medium Scalloped border die.  I sponged some Summer Sunrise ink on the sun rays for a little added color.  The sailboats were colored with my Copics.  The sentiment is also from the Bitty Baby Blessings set.  Perfect for a baby boy, or even a first birthday!

My next card uses Bitty Baby Blessings for a sweet 1st Birthday card.  I paired the elephant with the balloons from the Party Pops kit.

I diecut the elephant from Sweet Blush cardstock and stamped the image with Berry Sorbet and added a bit of shading with a Copic Marker.  The balloons and strings are from the Party Pops kit...the strings were stamped with Smokey Shadow ink and the balloons were stamped with Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet, Spring Rain, and Harvest Gold.  I layered them all on a Journaling Card diecut.  Behind the journal card I stamped some stars from the Party Pops kit in the same colors and added a diecut star border along the bottom.  The sentiment is from the Bitty Baby Blessings set.
