Maile Belles Returns!

We are on Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary Celebration! Today Nichole is making a fun announcement that I know will have many of you jumping for joy (me included!). Maile Belles is returning as a product designer! I love her style and I love her past designs, so this is exciting news for sure.
I have a project today using a few things Maile is releasing this month. She created a companion stamp set for her popular Beautiful Butterflies called Beautiful Butterflies Layers. It's a $15 set filled with little bits and pieces for embellishing the solid images found in the original Beautiful Butterflies. They can be used alone with the previously released Beautiful Butterflies dies as well, so lots and lots of design options here! There is also a new small die set being released for cutting the bodies of the butterflies. Here I stamped the solid image from Beautiful Butterflies onto a white diecut using Aqua Mist ink, then stamped the outer wing detail in Hawaiian Shores ink. I stamped the line detail on the wings using Versamark ink, then heat embossed it with white powder. The body was diecut from white cardstock and stamped with Berry Sorbet ink.
You might have noticed the pretty background...that's a new paper pad, also designed by Maile called Watercolor Wonder. So pretty...and my favorite colors too. Oh, and the sentiment along the bottom? Yup, you guessed it...another Maile creation. It's a new sentiment set called Swoosh. There are several scripty words with tails that extend the entire width of the card...and then there are several smaller companion sentiments. There are dies as well, but I chose to stamp it directly onto my project.
