Papertrey Ink January 2015 Release Wrap up...

Tonight's the night that all of the new January stamps and dies will go live in the Papertrey store! I hope you enjoyed all of the countdown posts and projects. I'm here to share a few more projects using the new January goodies...
First up is a card that uses several new stamps and dies. I used the Layered Banner Banter stamps and dies to create the large banner (I love those dies!!...a new favorite for sure!). The colorful cupcake is from the new Hey, Cupcake set.
IN the background I used the new Journal Card 8. The polka dot holes are exactly the same size as the medium Sequin die, so I opened up my tub full of diecut sequins and filled in the holes in the journal card for a colorful background.

Next up is another colorful card using the new Happy Notes set. I diecut the blank/chevron rectangle four times and stamped them with the coordinating image. Then I pulled out my Keep It Simple: Birthday set along with the new Keep It Simple: Belated Birthday set and filled in the blanks with the various sentiments.
I added a check mark from the Happy Notes set beside the "belated birthday" block. I also added some diecut leaves and flowers from the Happy Notes set. Along the top and bottom of the card I stamped the chevron border off the edge (this image is also in the Happy Notes set).

Next is a card using Phrase Play #12 die and stamps. The "like a rock star" sentiment inspired me to combine it with the Boy Basics: Rock On set.
I used Raspberry Fizz, Tropical Teal, Limeade Ice, Royal Velvet, and Aqua Mis for my color scheme. I stamped the music staff and notes from the Rock On set in the upper left corner. I curved the "like a rock star" sentiment so it could follow the music staff.

And wrapping up the release is a card using the new 2015 Birthday Tags set. I stamped that pretty leaf oval onto a Limitless Layers: 2 1/4" Oval diecut using Aqua Mist ink. In the background I stamped the coordinating leaf image which can be found in the Leave It Be set, in Aqua Mist and Limeade Ice inks. I used some generational stamping to get some lighter and darker colored leaves.
Above and below the senitment I stamped an image from the new Stitched Swirls set using Classic Kraft ink. Along the left edge is a chevron border which was stamped with the new Happy Notes set. I scattered a few Rainstones across the front to finish it off.
