Santa Stationery Revisited...

Santa-Station-all

Good morning!  Happy December.  Can you believe it?  The holiday busyness is already underway.  The first of the month always means it's time for another Papertrey Ink Sr Team challenge where we pull out an older stamp set and revisit it with some fresh ideas.  Today's feature?  The adorable and fun Santa Stationery set.

Do your kids like to get special mail addressed just to them, like my kids do?  What a fun surprise it would be to get a letter from Santa himself...straight from the North Pole.  :-)  For my project today I created a special tri-fold "Nice Certificate" card that would be so fun for any child to receive in the mail!

The outside is bright and colorful - stamped with some of the images and sentiments from the Santa Stationery set.  I used the diagonal stripe paper from the Sparkle & Shine paper pad to add lots of color.  The envelope is stamped with several images from the set as well.

The flap of the tri-fold card was cut using the Edgers #4 die and then I used a craft knife to cut a slit to tuck it in.

The card opens up to reveal Santa's official "nice list declaration" which was created by stamping several of the elments from the Santa Stationery set.  His "signature" is even included. :-)

I also created a coordinating gift tag using the Santa Stationery set.  I used several of the images from the set and combined them with the Tag Sale #11 luggage tag die.
