Monthly Moments: December and Tinsel & Tags House Additions...

Hello! It's time for a Papertrey Ink group post. Today the team is showcasing the December Monthly Moments line up. I'm also featuring some projects using the Tinsel & Tags House Additions mini set.
First is a card using the stamps from the December Monthly Moments set.
I used the branch images from the stamp set to create a fun tree. I just added a strip of kraft cardstock for the trunk. The sentiment is also from the MM: December set. I placed the "December" diecut along the left edge, cut from a red/white snowflake paper from the MM: December Journaling pad.

Next I have a few projects showcasing the Tinsel & Tags House Additions mini set. Many of you loved the house die that is included in the Trimmings kit and requested more stamps to go with it. I designed a $5 mini set that contains two new houses - a simple everyday polka dot house and a cozy log cabin. There are two roof styles so that the stamps can be used with both the dimensional house die from the Trimmings kit (which is still available for purchase HERE) and the small flat house that was included in the main Tinsel & Tags kit (the main kit has sold out and is no longer available...sorry!). You can of course use the flat style house without the dies as well. There are a few everyday sentiments in the set as well.
My first card uses the "flat" version of the house and its coordinating roof. I paired it with a great sentiment from the Birthday Classics: January set, new from Dawn this month. You can see the dimensional version of the log cabin that uses the die from the Trimmings kit sitting beside my card.
The mini House Additions set includes separate stamps for the doors (there are two different styles) as well as two different styles of the arched window so you can easily make a multi-colored house or cabin. I nestled the log cabin in some hills cut with the Cover Plate: Snow Drifts die and added a strip of paper from the Monthly Moments: December Journal pad along the bottom to finish it off.

My next card uses a journal card from the Monthly Moment December pad paired with the log cabin. I stamped up three of the little cabins and lined them up above the sentiment printed on the card. I added some more coordinating patterned paper along the bottom, along with a strip of Pure Poppy cardstock.
Here's a nother close-up of the little dimensional cabin create with the House Additions stamps and the die from the Trimmings kit. The little tree and deer are also from the Trimmings kit.

My last project today has a much different look. I used the everyday polka dot house from the new House Additions set and paired it with the new Cover Plate: In the Woods die to create a little home decor piece. I diecut two of the In the Woods Cover Plates and adhered them together, just in the center, then folded them out to create a piece that would stand up on its own.
There are a few sentiments included in the House Additions set as well. I took the "Home" and "sweet" sentiments and stamped them on a Bountiful Banner diecut. I adhered it across the trees.
In the bottom open area I adhered a Limitless Layers: 2 1/4" oval diecut to act as a base to adhere my little house. The house was diecut with the house die from the Tinsel & Tags: Trimmings kit and stamped with the polka dot version of the house in the new House Additions set.
