Papertrey Ink November 2014 Release Wrap up...
November 15, 2014
Tonight's the big night! All of the new November stamps and dies will go up on the Papertrey Ink site tonight at 10pm EST. I have a bunch more projects to share with you today using the remainder of the new products that I haven't shown here yet.
Also, a note about the Make It Market: Tinsel & Tags Trimmings kit. As you may know, this kit sold out on release night and then went into pre-order. They have completed shipping all of the pre-orders and as promised they have put together extra kits. These extra Tinsel & Tags Trimmings kits will go up in the store tonight at release time, so if you've been wanting one now is the time. They will not be re-stocked once they sell out.
At the time of this post there are still some main Tinsel & Tags kits left, but I know stock is getting pretty low. You can find them HERE.
**Edited to add: The full kit is now out of stock.
Now on to the rest of my release projects! I'll make it short and sweet...
First is a card that uses the new Floral Flaps die. I created a band from a strip of Tinsel & Tags patterned paper and topped it off with a few florals from the Tinsel & Tags Sprigs set.
It opens up to reveal a birthday sentiment -- stamped and heat embossed using the new Birthday Classics: December set.
Supplies not linked, but available at 10pm EST from Papertrey Ink: Floral Flaps die, Birthday Classics: December stamp set.
Next is a card using the Faire Isle Motifs set. I heat embossed a few of the images onto Pure Poppy cardstock using white embossing powder.
The label diecut is from Uncorked and the sentiment is from Snow Globe Sentiments (released last month).

It's feeling a little more like spring with my next card (who else has a feeling it might be a really looooong winter??) This card uses the new Phrase Play #10 die and stamps along with the new Cover Plate: Peony die.
I used the ombre watercolor technique I shared last week as a background for this pretty new Cover Plate. The senitment is Phrase Play #10.
Supplies not linked, but available at 10pm EST from Papertrey Ink: Phrase Play #10 stamp set and die, Cover Plate: Peony die
Next up is another light and airy card using the new Mat Stack 7 Basics stamp set and the previously released Mat Stack 7 dies.
I used the hexagon frame image to create a background and added some leaves from Embellished Elegance stamped in Fine Linen and Classic Kraft inks. I added some Mat Stack 7 diecuts stamped with images from the coordinating stamp set. The "thanks" sentiment diecut is from the new Uncorked die collectionl.

Next up is a card that uses the new A Cheerful Heart sentiment set. I stamped one of the verses onto watercolor paper and heat embossed it with white powder. Then I brushed over it with a bit of watercolor using a foam brush.
I framed it using the Shaker Shapes: Square die, then layered it over a Cover Plate: Peony diecut. The floral diecut at the top is from Phrase Play #10.

We're gonna party for these last two cards. :-) This one uses the new Type Strip Number stamps and Type Strips die. I left the Type Strips together and created banners out of them for a fun and festive New Year's card.
The Type Strip banners were combined with the banner stamps in the new Happy New Year stamp set. The sentiment, stars, and clock face are also from that set.

Another party here! This one uses the new Uncorked set along with the Keep It Simple: Happy New Year set. I diecut the bottles from vellum and layered them over the card base which has a diecut window covered in clear cardstock.
The confetti was made with the confetti die in the Shaker Shapes: Square die collection and gold metallic cardstock. I diecut the bottle corks from lightweight cork. The "celebrate" senitment is from Uncorked and the "happy new year" is from the new Keep It Simple set.
