Instant Photo: Holidays Revisited...

It's the first of the month and that means the Papertrey Ink team is here for the monthly Sr. Team challenge where we dust off an older set and bring you some fresh ideas.  This month we are featuring Instant Photo: Holidays.  This great set was designed to help you create your own classy holiday photo cards.

Instant photo set

I created some quick and easy photo cards that are pretty mail-friendly as well.  That's the tricky part...adding that handmade flair while maintaining mail-ability, isn't it?

Instant-Photo3

I started with 3x3 photos and added 1/8" ScorTape around the edges and coated it with gold glitter.  Before adhereing the photo to my card base I stamped some polka dots from the Polka Dot Basics III set using gold ink.

To add some dimension without a lot of bulk, I added a vellum wrap - just a 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" strip which I scored and wrapped around my 4 x 5 1/2" card base and adhered the ends together on the back side.  I stamped the "joyeux noel" two-step sentimen using gold and black inks.  I also wrapped a bit of black baker's twine and added a diecut Sketched Star.  Another sentiment from the Instant Photo set was stamped in black along the bottom.
