September Release Wrap Up + Sneak Peek of the NEW Make It Market: Tinsel & Tags kit!

What a whirlwind of a release!  And we're not done yet!  Are you loving all of the holiday goodies?  Tonight's the night all of the September products go up in the store.  I have a few more projects to show you that I haven't already shared...AND a treat!  I have a little peek of the next Make It Market kit!

Announcing the Make It Market: Tinsel & Tags kit...

Tinsel-&-Tags-logo

We've heard you loud and clear that your favorite thing to make during the holidas is...TAGS!  The new Tinsel & Tags kit is designed to help you create beautiful tags, package toppers, and ornaments for the holidays.  Of course, most of the products can be used for card making as well.  There are so many bits and pieces that mix and match within the kit that you will have hours and hours (ok, probably more like days and days) of fun playing around with all of the different elements.  We are doing things a bit differently this time around.  The kit will be split into two parts.  The main kit will contain the bulk of the exclusive stamps and dies, while the Trimmings addition will contain most of the expendables, giving you the option to purchase one or the other, or both.

There are both quick and easy options for when you need to wrap up a gift real quick (or am I the only one that ever has that???), as well as options that allow you to get really creative with your stamps and dies to create truly one-of-a-kind tags and wraps.

The Make It Market: Tinsel & Tags kit will go up for sale on October 1st.  I will be back here on September 30th for the full reveal, probably a video or two, plus lots and lots of projects.  I can hardly wait!

Now for the rest of those release projects...

First is a card using the new Wet Paint Holiday stamps and dies.  I watercolored a panel of watercolor paper using my ink refills, then diecut it with the Cover Plate: Diagonal Stripe die.  I added the Dangled Stars diecut over the top, cut from metallic gold cardstock.  I added the Wet Paint Holiday "peace" diecut and stamped the coordinating sentiment from the Wet Paint Holiday set.

Behing the diecut panel I added a fun little subtle touch.  I stamped the World Map with gold metallic ink...it just adds something a little fun and unexpected, without overpowering the card.

Up next I have a few projects using the new Phrase Play #8 stamps and die.  First I used just the Phrase Play #8 die, along with the Sparkle Word die and the Sparkle & Shine Holiday Additions stap set.

I used just the "joy" word and the attached narrow frame and adhered it to a Journaling Card diecut (cut from a patterned paper from the Sparkle & Shine paper pad).  I added some star sequins cut with the Shaker Shapes: Circle dies.

Next is a whole set of cards using the Phrase Play #8 stamps and dies.  I diecut the Phrase Play die from a few different patterned papers from the Sparkle & Shine paper pad and some solid cardstocks, then just had fun mixing and matching the pieces.  It was a quick and easy way to create a fun set of cards.

I adhered each finished Phrase Play #8 diecut to a panel of paper from the Sparkle & Shine pad - three of them use the pre-printed A2 backgrounds from that pad...so fun for quick and easy cards like this!

Last, but definitely not least, is a card using the new October Birthday Classics set.  I stamped the large sentiment from the set onto a Basic Bookmark 3 diecut from Autumn Rose cardstock, using Scarlet Jewel ink.  I topped it with the pretty leaf swag from Embellished Elegance, stamped in shades of autumn colors.

For the background I created a plaid using the BB: Super Stripes with Scarlet Jewel and Canyon Clay inks.
