More Make It Market: County Fair inspiration...

HAPPY SATURDAY! I'm back this morning with a little more Make It Market: County Fair inspiration.  I hope you've been enjoying all of the projects.  I always love seeing what the other girls create and I can't wait for you to be able to create with this kit too!

So a few more cards today...

First is a softer look.  You really can take elements from the kit and go so many different directions...bright and bold or soft and pretty.  For this card I started with the Sweet Blush sunburst paper from the County Fair paper pad included in the kit.  I layered the "homemade" diecut word over the top and added a few of the flower clusters around it.

I stamped "from the heart" in Pure Poppy.  I layered a tiny heart diecut over top of the heart that's attached to the sentiment (the tiny heart die is also included in the kit!).  I added a strip of the picnic plaid paper, also from the kit, along the bottom edge and trimmed it off with one of the paper straws.

My next card is much bolder!  I started off with the Hibiscus/Pure Poppy sunburst paper and again layered the "homemade" diecut sentiment over the top.  This time I added the heart cherries layered over the top of the attached heart.

The background was stamped with the small flowers and leaves included in the stamp set.  I wrapped some of the Cotton Candy paper twine and added some paper straws along the top and bottom edges.  Very colorful and fun...I think it would cheer anyone's day!

Next up we have a set of little enclosure cards using the Cover Plate: Bandana die.  I diecut the Bandana from white cardstock, then folded it in half and used it as my card base. I tucked them all in one of the berry baskets from the kit.

I used the medallion die to embellish the basket.  I made my medallion a little smaller by trimming down the width of my strips before assembling it.  I added a button and a punched circle to the center of it.

I lined the notecards with the bandana print paper from the kit...you can see on the photo above how it peeks through when the card is closed.  This was kind of a happy accident...I didn't really plan for that to happen, but Danielle discovered that it worked!  Kind of fun!  :-)  The front of the cards are embellished with the "enjoy" word and flower clusters on some and cherries on others.

My last card today is a super simple one layer card...you can go all out with this kit or keep it simple.  Here I used the striped straw border stamp that's included in the stamp set.  I stamped the two-step flowers without the stem and added some of the tiny leaves which I included in the stamp set just for this purpose, so you could use them with the coordinating die as a cluster, or individually like I did here.

A bit of the Cotton Candy paper twine finishes it off.  Just a hint on this twine...I actually split mine in two -- you can separate the strands to make a lighter weight twine...plus that means you'll have twice as much to work with.  :-)
