Introducing Note Niblets...
July 11, 2014
Hello and welcome to the July 2014 Papertrey Ink countdown. Today I get to help introduce a new stamp set called Note Niblets, designed by Melissa Bickford. It's a great, all-occasion set with tons of little details that are a blast to play around with. This new set and its matching dies will be available for purchase at 10pm Eastern time from the Papertrey Ink website.
Let me show you a few projects I made using this new set and coordinating dies...
First up is a sweet and simple note card using several different images from the set. I love the way the main words in the set are done in the striped font. Super fun.
There are lots of small flowers and leaves for building accents, not to mention that cute envelope image, which also has a matching die. I stamped all of these elements onto a Journal Card diecut layered over a Stitched Rectangle diecut.

Next is a thinking of you card using many of the same elements, but this time paired with the matching dies for lots of layering and dimension. I used the new Tag Sale #11 die, also being released this month, which makes an adorable luggage-style tag.
There are also several little border stamps included in the Note Niblets set. I used the dotted border here and stamped it a few times in different ink colors.

Next is a birthday card that uses a few of the banner images from the set, the cute flower cluster, and another sentiment.
I diecut the banner images from white cardstock, stamped on them, then layered them over banners cut from coordinating cardstock to create a banner.

There are also several options for holiday sentiments as well as this cute holly cluster.
Here I heat embossed the "jolly" using red embossing powder, then stamped the same word several times in the background. I added an embossed panel of white cardstock along the bottom. The diecut holly makes a cute accent.
