Paper Smooches Saturday: Rainbow Die and Spring Dies...
February 22, 2014
It's time for another Paper Smooches Saturday! Today I have two cards for you. The first card uses the newly released Rainbow Die...
It's a super cute die that you can use to create rainbows (duh!), but I used in a little different way for my card today. The bits and pieces of the rainbow are perfect half circles, so I layered them over one of the Pinked Circles dies to create concentric circles...
It's kind of a fun trendy look. I finished it off with some arrows from the Love Struck set.
My second card uses the Spring Dies...
I used the cute little jelly bean which coordinates with the jellybean stamp in the Magical Spring set. I stamped them with versamark and coated them with a couple layers of clear embossing powder.
I enclosed a bunch of them bewteen two layers of clear acetate along with some micro beads. I secured the layers together by wrapping the edges with washi tape. The sentiment is from the Word Up set which I coated with a couple of layers of clear embossing powder as well to give it a candy-coated effect.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your weekend is SWEET!
