Introducing Inside & Out: Love and The Best is Yet To Be...

Hello all!  I'm joining the Papertrey Ink December countdown a little later than usual this month...my package decided to do a disappearing act!  But it finally arrived and I was excited to dig in.  Today I get to help introduce a few new love-themed sets...

Inside & Out: Love is a wonderful addition to the Inside & Out line up.  Lots of great sentiments. Nichole always does such a wonderful job designing these sets...such great font choices and design.

The other set I'm showcasing today is The Best is Yet To Be by Heather Nichols.  There is also a small $5 sentiment addition to this set.

These new stamp sets and coordinating dies, as well as any other project I mention as "new" in this post will be available on December 15th at 10pm EST from the Papertrey Ink store.

Let's get on with the projects, shall we?

My first card usese several elements from the new The Best is Yet To Be set + a sentiment from Inside & Out: Love.  There are these great little flowers and leaves, the script "love", and the arrow heart are all from this new set.  The remainder of the sentiment is from Inside & Out: Love.

Love Banners

I did a little creative maskig with the sentiment (just using scotch tape) so that I could incorporate the banners from the previously released Bountiful Banners set.  I also incorporated the ampersand from Grand Ampersand.

My next card uses the flowers from the The Best is Yet To Be set and combines them with a brand new die called Framed Love.  I diecut it from some pretty gold glitter paper.

Aqua Love

I diecut the flowers and leaves from The Best is Yet To Be and clustered them in the corners.  The pretty, delicate border along the bottom is also from The Best is Yet To Be.  The Congratulations sentiment is from Inside & Out: Love.

Just to note, I diecut the Framed Love from the gold glitter as well as white cardstock.  It's easy to create a shadow effect.  I just trimmed away the frame on the white diecut and placed it behind the gold one.

My next card uses another great sentiment from Inside & Out: Love as well as the flowers again from The Best is Yet To Be.  I just love the design of this sentiment.  It's so fresh looking.  I stamped it with True Black ink, the again with Versarmark and heat embossed it with gold.  Then I took a bit of watered down Berry Sorbet ink and brushed over it to create the water color look.

Completely Happy

I stamped the flowers and leaves from The Best is Yet To Be and used the same water coloring technique.

My last card is a very quick yet elegant 50th wedding anniversary card.  I used this gorgeous sentiment from Inside & Out: Love along with the numbers included in the set.  The sentiment was stamped in Classic Kraft ink and the numbers were stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold powder.

50 years

The create the textured background, I impressed it with the Moroccan Impression Plate and placed a Limitless Layers: 3 1/2" Oval over top of the plate so it left that area free for my sentiment.  I've been playing around with some letterpress papers and I love the deep impression they give to the Impression Plates.  I lined an envelope with some gold glitter cardstock using the Envelope Liner die.
