Papertrey Ink November 2013 Wrap Up...
November 15, 2013
Hello all! Well, we've come to the end of another countdown...tonight is the night all of the new Papertrey Ink November products will go up in the store. Make your list and check it twice. :-)
I'm here to share the remainder of my projects for the month. I have four that I haven't posted yet, so I'll keep this short and sweet...
First up is Boutique Borders: Congrats. I strategically places my diecut machine's cutting plates so that I only cut half of the frame, then repeated on the other end of a strip of cardstock to create an elongated frame.
I stamped the word "congrats" from Boutique Borders: Congrats several times with bright colored inks. I then stamped one of the "congratulations" sentiments from the new Congratulations set and cut it out, layering it over top. Everything is mounted on a Cover Plate: Center Stage diecut.

Next up is a card using Fancy Footwork. I switched it up a bit and used it for a congratulations card by altering the sentiments just a bit. My kids do the "happy dance" when they're excited about something. :-)
I inked up just the "dancing" portion of one of the sentiments. The "happy" diecut is from the new Tipped Tops die collection. I added the "for you" from the Embroidered Blooms set. The "congratulations" is from the new Congratulations sentiment set as are the stars stamped along the top.

Next is a card that uses the latest set in the Polka Dot Parade series. This one features an adorable polka dot house. I paired it with the tree from Heart-2-Heart #8 and the little bicycle from Kid Kudos.
Here again I did some strategic positioning of my diecutting plates to cut just the tops of the Picket Fence die. I added a bit of new BB: Needlepoint along the bottom.

Last but not least is a card using this month's Wonderful Words set which features a Congrats sentiment.
I cut some strips of cardstock and diecut the word from the top and bottom edges, then layered them with the stamped words behind. Tip: start with cardstock strips longer than necessary, then you don't have to worry so much about placement and can trim away the excess. I added some diecut vellum stars and sequins, as well as some of the smaller sentiment stamps from the set.
