Come All Ye Faithful...

Welcome to group post day #1 for the Papertrey Ink October countdown! Today the team is a cute set by Erin called Come All Ye Faithful. It featrues cute little dogs all decked out in warm, cozy sweaters. There is a companion set featuring adorable holiday accessories for the pooches as well. Everything I show in today's post as "new" will be available for purchase from the Papertrey Ink website as of 10pm EST on October 15th, 2013.
My first card is a holiday card with a little play on words for the sentiment. I used the dachshund image and sweater from the main set and the antler accessories from the Additions set.
I pieced together the sentiment with various elements from the main set, then added "paws" using the Script Alphabet dies. I added the pawprint as well, which is from the With Sympathy: Pet set.

My next card plays up the dachshund's most famous characteristic...his long body! I combined him with the Movers & Shakers Zipper die.
When you peel away the zipper strip you reveal the rest of the sentiment...Friends Warm the coldest of days.
I thought the Knit Bits set was the perfect companion for this set!
