Go-to Gal Designer Challenge - The Twinery...
August 28, 2013
Hello! It's the last Wednesday of the month and the means the Paper Crafts Go-to Gals are hosting a little blog hop. Once a month we challenge eachother to create a project using products from a specific manufacturer. No fuss, no pressure, just for fun. This month we are featuring The Twinery.
Baker's twine took the paper crafting world by storm a few years back and it's become a staple in my stash of go-to products. At the top of that stash is twine from The Twinery. They have good quality twine in tons of great colors.
Here is a card I created using just a few of their many, many colors available...
My daughter received a bracelet kit for her birthday a few weeks back which contained bangles and lots of colors of string which you are supposed to wrap around the bangles. That inspired the string art behind the diecut word on my card today.
I simply took a piece of cardstock large enough to cover the back of the word, and wound the twine around it until it was completel covered, then adhered it to the backside of the diecut panel. I also wound some around some cute cork stars.
