More Market Street...
April 05, 2013
A month or so ago I guest blogged for Market Street Stamps. I have another guest post up on their blog today. This time I worked with their Dreaming of the Sea stamp set. As I've said a few times in the last while, I totally love the nautical/preppy look that's hot right now. It's so fresh and fun for spring/summer and Market Street's Dreaming of the Sea set is perfect for nautical creations.
I've always loved nautical things for babies...I think it's just too cute. When my son was a baby my favorite outfit ever was a gift from my sister-in-law. It was navy and white striped with cute whales and an adorable little jacket. But I don't think this trend has to be just for boys. I love pink and navy together...add in a bit of mint and you've got some girly-girl nautical bliss.
I used one of the stars from the set to create the background. That great anchor circle and also the sentiment are both from the Dreaming of the Sea set as well.
And of course, I couldn't resist making a more classic boy version as well.
I used the anchor from the set to create the background. I even added a preppy bow-tie. :-)
