Papertrey Ink Color Inspirations...

Anni logo

Happy Monday!  We're well in to our Papertrey Ink 6th Anniversary Celebration, but there's still tons more fun to come!  Today's challenge on Nichole's blog is all about color.  She put together a collection of amazing images and Papertrey Ink color combos that were inspired by those images.  Be sure to visit her blog to see all of the color palettes and read all the details about how you can play along too. There are, of course, more giveaways with this challenge as well!

I chose to work with the color scheme in the image below.  I was tempted to choose a few of the others which were totally more "me", but I decided to challenge myself a little.  This color combo is defnitely not something I would have come up with on my own, but it's so warm and pretty.

Here is the card I created using this color combo.  Lots of new stamps here!  I used Maile's new Irresistably Ikat set to create the pattern.  This is a set that is going to be so much fun to play with.  I've created a few cards with it already and I feel like I've just touched the tip of the iceberg.  I'm excited to see what Maile does with it...she always has such a unique way of arranging images and building patterns.
Color-Challenge-Hello
That super fun jumbo "hello" image and smaller "just a note to say" sentiments are from the first installment of Heather's year-long Wonderful Words series.  I think I'm more excited about this series than any ever before in the history of Papertrey.  hee.  You all know how I love typographical elements and if this first set is any indication of what's to come, consider me hooked!
