With all My Heart...

It's group post day #2 for the Papertrey Ink December countdown!  Today the team is featuring projects using a new set called With All My Heart.  It was designed by Nichole and it's filled with gorgeous heart images with lots of separate pieces so you can build multi-color images as well as tons of fun sentiments and typographical elements.  This new set will be available for puchase on December 15th from the Papertrey Ink website.

My first project today was inspired by all of the cool letterpress things I've been seeing on Pinterest.  Just go to Pinterest and do a search for letterpress and you'll be treated to all sorts of typgraphical goodness...but *warning*...this could lead to the loss of several hours of your life.  ;-)  The new With All My Heart set is packed with lots of great elements that are reminiscent of the sort of typography that is wildly popular in letterpress right now.  I used several of them to build this typographical card.

The frame around the outside was stamped using the Framed set.  For the dashed lines I used a couple of different things...the longest one is from Sew Simple Borders and the short dotted divider is from Love Lives Here.  That super fun heart is from the new With All My Heart set and coordinates with the new Limitless Layers 2 1/2" Heart dies.  This particular heart from the set is all one image, but I stamped it a few times and pieced it back together to get a multi-color look.  There are others in the set that have the various pieces so that you can stamp them separately.  The fun flower cluster at the base of the heart is also from this new set.

My next project uses a slightly altered Front & Center die to create a gift card holder that would be perfect for a wedding gift.  I diecut two Front & Center panels and trimmed the angled edges off to create a narrower, straight piece.  I rounded the bottom corners, then stitched them together around the sides and bottom to form a pocket.

Again I used several elements from the new With All My Heart set to create the design on the front.  The large "love" letters are from this set as well.  I added some brackets above and below the sentiment.

Tucked inside my pocket is an oversized tag which will hold a gift card (the tabs were punched with a slit punch).  I again stamped that large "love" word (all of the letters are separate, so you can group them however you'd like).  I also added the "on your wedding day" sentiment which is from Congrats All Ways.  I topped it off with a strip of pretty patterned paper, a silver eyelet and some twine...a pretty yet simple way to present a gift card.
