Teach & Inspire...

Welcome to group post #2 of the August Papertrey Ink countdown!  Today the team is featuring a brand new stamp set called Teach & Inspire.  It was designed by Nichole and is perfect for all sorts of teacher/mentor projects.  Teacher's Apple, Papertrey's other teacher themed set, is one of my most-used sets ever, so I'm happy to be able to add another teacher set to my collection!  The new Teach & Inspire set will be available from purchase from the Papertrey Ink website as of 10 pm Eastern on August 15, 2012. 

Nichole challenged us to create both a card and a gift or wrap of some type using elements from the new Teach & Inspire set.  Christmastime is most often the time when I create teacher gifts, so I decided to create something holiday themed.  

For my card, I used the main "Teachers..." label along with the coordinating chevron piece to create the focal point.  

To create the background, I used snowflakes from the Peace Be Still set.  The diecut snowflake is from the Peace Be Still die collection.  

Here's a shot at the inside of the card.  The teacher label and sentiment that I stamped inside are both from the new Teach & Inspire set.

For the gift/wrap portion of the assignment, I created a coordinating gift card holder using the Gift Card Greetings die.  For the top flap, I stamped just the dotted portion of the label as seen in the inside of my card above.
