Today's the day! We've reached the end of the January Papertrey Ink coundown. All of the new products will be available for purchase at 10pm EST tonight on the Papertrey Ink website!
I'm popping in to share the rest of the projects I created for this month's release. A complete supply list can be found at the end of this post.
First up is a card using Flower Fusion #12 stamps and dies. It's bright and colorful. I layered three of the FF #12 diecuts over the new Celebrations label. I love these plaid flowers and that cute button center (with coordinating die!).
For the sentiment, I stamped the "I believe in you" from FF #12 over some letters cut with the new Block Alphabet Upper die. The center of the "O" is topped of with the circle die and coordinating button stamp, also from the FF #12 collection.
Next is a card using Dawn's new Celebrations set. I had so much fun with this set and can't wait to play with it more! I love all of the layering possibilities and those labels are gorgeous! Here I combined it with Rosie Posie and the new Fancy Flourishes dies. For my sentiment, I layered the Christmas Label die over the new Celebrations die and I love the way that looks!
I'm also loving the Canyon Clay collection which was released last month...it seems like it takes a month or so for a color to grow on me and this one has definitely grown on me this month! As I look at lots of recently released patterned paper collections from various companies, I'm surprised at how much I see this color popping up! Here I combined it with Aqua Mist and a touch of Summer Sunrise.
Next is a much softer card using Dawn's other set for the month -- Happily Ever After -- a great collection of wedding sentiments. I combined one of the sentiments from her set with a few other of this month's new sets. I used Lace Bouquet for the background and Simply Jane for the frames. Inside the frames are some Simply Jane diecuts.
I used the same technique here that I used on my "Handmade Birthday" card from earlier this week. I stamped the background, then stamped with frames with Versamark and heat embossed them with white powder. I'm having fun playing with that technique!
Lastly is a simple card using Heather's Tag-its #12 set. I used the heart from the set to create a little 4-leaf clover. The sentiment is from the new Script Sentiments set, also being released this month. I topped it off with a bit of patterned paper (from a diecut tablet from LYB) and a button.
I hand-cut a stem from Simply Chartreuse cardstock. Just a quick and easy card you could whip up in a matter of minutes. :-)
Well, thanks for stopping by today! Have fun narrowing down your wish list...it's been a super fun release with so many great new goodies! Happy shopping and be sure to check out the other DT members to see the remainder of their projects for the month!
